Phoenix
Tattoos - The phoenix can be found in many different cultures
myths and stories. It is said that the phoenix represent the sun
which dyes in flames at the end of each day and rises again each
morning. Phoenix tattoos can symbolize rebirth and resurrection,
dying and rising again. In Christianity, the phoenix represents
Christ's resurrection and is a symbol of victory over death and
immortality. In stories, a phoenix lives for 500 years and then
sets itself on fire to die. Three days later the phoenix will rise
from the ashes to be reborn again. Other things a phoenix tattoo
may symbolize are grace, virtue, goodness, kindness, reliability,
purification, and transformation.
